EVIDENCE AND METHODOLOGY

A clear view of the evidence behind the report.

Credosint uses Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to discover and organise accessible public company information into structured research. Source context, entity identification and disclosure limitations are central to interpreting the result.

Evidence-led database checks

Credosint combines public-source research with targeted sanctions and PEP screening. Each report identifies the subjects checked, the check date, possible matches and areas requiring further review. If screening has not been performed, this is clearly stated. Unchecked subjects are not treated as cleared.

1. Identify the subject

Research begins with the company being reviewed. Legal names, jurisdiction and available registration information help distinguish the subject from similarly named entities. A parent company, subsidiary and trading brand are not interchangeable.

Corporate registry evidence

Corporate registry research draws on accessible public sources and authorised uploads to examine company registration, incorporation, directors, shareholding and filing history. Coverage depends on the jurisdiction and available records. Findings include reporting dates and source references, with gaps clearly identified.

Analysis compares available records across periods and checks registration identifiers before attributing findings. Old returns are dated snapshots; an incomplete ownership chain does not establish the ultimate beneficial owner. A missing or inaccessible filing is not proof of non-compliance.

You can supply legally obtained company records through the supporting-document upload. Findings retain their reporting dates and source references. Customer uploads are labelled and are not independently authenticated. Each report makes clear which records were reviewed and where evidence remains incomplete.

2. Discover accessible source material

Relevant source categories include public registries, company filings and annual reports, exchange disclosures, rating publications, corporate records, project updates and credible public news. Availability depends on jurisdiction, publication practices and access restrictions.

Customers may provide supporting documents they are authorised to share. Uploaded information is part of the report request; it is not published in this public resource library.

3. Reconcile context and dates

Read information within its legal entity and reporting period. Distinguish standalone and consolidated accounts, completed and ongoing projects, and historical developments from their current disclosed status. Conflicting disclosures and missing information need to remain visible.

Source publication date, reporting period and research date answer different questions. A newly retrieved source can still describe an old position.

4. Organise the analytical view

Credosint connects corporate and financial information with execution, banking, surety and material legal or corporate developments where evidence is available. Findings are organised into a comprehensive PDF with source references, information gaps and risk observations.

Source references enable follow-up. The presence of a reference does not guarantee that the source is complete, current or independently audited.

A connected view of company risk

New reports combine financial and execution analysis with PEP and UBO changes, sanctions screening and vendor risk assessment. Findings are source-referenced, with coverage limitations and possible matches identified for review.

5. Deliver and invite corrections

Completed reports are delivered to the customer’s verified email and made available in the workspace. If you identify a material factual error, contact info@credosint.com with the report reference, the statement concerned and supporting evidence.

Scope and limitations

Public evidence may be incomplete, stale or unavailable. Research does not provide access to undisclosed records and cannot guarantee that every material issue will be identified. Each PDF is a dated research snapshot. Separately, eligible completed reports can opt into scheduled daily monitoring for changes in evidence, subject to platform capacity and the report retention period. Monitoring alerts appear in the workspace and do not overwrite the original report.

Reports support professional assessment and do not constitute regulated credit ratings, legal opinions, insurance cover or underwriting approval. Review the service and billing terms before placing an order.
